GPF CONCLUDES TRAINING ON SMUGGLING AND TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS

The National Agency Against Trafficking in Persons (NAATIP) in partnership with the GIZ Police Program, concluded a week-long training for NAATIP
Investigators and others law enforcement’s officers on smuggling of migrants and trafficking in persons. The closing ceremony was held at the NaNA Conference Hall on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

Speaking on behalf of the Inspector General of Police, Commissioner of Police Administration, CP Mustapha Ndong, expressed gratitude to partners and stakeholders for providing this valuable training. He emphasized its significance in advancing security reforms and supporting ongoing police reform efforts.

CP Ndong urged the participants to apply their new knowledge and share it with colleagues who could not attend, ensuring the broader impact of the training across the force.

The Executive Director of Naatip urged the participants to continue to foster the spirit of collaboration and cooperation in the fight against TIP.
