The Arrest of Wanted Suspect Ejiro Erakpoweri. The National Agency Against Trafficking in Persons (NAATIP) wishes to inform the public that Ejiro Erakpoweri, a Nigerian national, who has been wanted after jumping bail in July 2025, was apprehended at the Banjul International Airport Yesterday. The arrest was made following credible intelligence and with the support of our partners at the Banjul international airport. The suspect is now in lawful custody and will be arraigned before a court of competent jurisdiction to face the charges against him. NAATIP reaffirms its unwavering commitment to the fight against human trafficking and to ensuring that justice is served in accordance with the laws of The Gambia.
