Day 3 Update: TIP Training Manual Validation Workshop.

As the National Agency Against Trafficking in Persons (NAATIP) commences Day 3 of the four-day validation workshop on the Trafficking in Persons (TIP) Training Manual and Facilitators’ Guide (30th March – 2nd April 2026), participants continue the document review process, providing inputs, recommendations, and expert insights to strengthen the quality and practicality of the materials.

Today’s engagements focus on plenary consolidation of Investigation and Interview techniques, where contributions from participants are being harmonized to ensure clarity, consistency, and applicability in real-case scenarios.

Participants are also undertaking a thematic review on Human Rights and Protection, emphasizing a victim-centered approach and ensuring that the manual reflects strong safeguarding and rights-based principles.

Further sessions cover International Cooperation and Coordination, with participants sharing recommendations to enhance collaboration, information sharing, and coordinated responses across institutions and borders.

The day will conclude with plenary consolidation on Protection and Cooperation, integrating all inputs and recommendations to ensure the documents are comprehensive, practical, and aligned with national priorities and international standards.

The workshop continues to provide a platform for active engagement and collaboration among stakeholders, reinforcing a unified and effective response to trafficking in persons.
